Your Character's Name: Audra Harrison

Rabies was grinding against Meridith. Part of me was jealous, but part of me knew that I would be doing the same thing if she wasn’t an android. As much I act like an independent bitch, I do like attention. I mean, who doesn’t like attention? But Meridith was getting all the attention at this rave. Her long hair swayed around her body elegantly as she moved, and tied at the ends were glow sticks. Her skin was shiny and perfect, and her eyes were empty. She didn't look focused on anything with her face, but her body told a different story. She moved along with the music in perfect time, never missing a beat. At first, I figured Rabies was dancing with her because she was trying to help us. But she wasn’t searching for switches, or talking to her. Ray came over and tried grabbing the robot, and Rabies tried grabbing her back. I didn’t want to get involved; the two of them were adults who could figure it out on their own.
Ray ended up with Meridith. We all ran into the bathroom with her and the DJ, however, Roen stayed outside to keep guard. Smart thinking. It made me feel good. I’m not used to anyone trying to help me or protect me. Roen was kind of like…the dad I never had. We aren’t very close, but we’re closer my birth father and I ever were or will be. I was closer to all these strangers in the rave than I was with any of my 'real' family.
The DJ took Meridith into a stall to ‘turn her off.’ I stood in the next stall to watch over top for funny business. Maybe I need glasses, because I didn’t realize he turned her off and then took off her arm. And I also didn’t realize her arm was a rocket launcher. Everything happened at once. He was out of the stall, holding Meridith’s limp body and aiming at us. Ray was gone; I could see his feet and some high heels sticking out of a stall to the right of me. Of course. Ray was always in the middle of action unless he was getting some action.
I wish I could say I remember what was said, but I was lost in my own head. I didn’t care what the DJ was saying, I just needed to survive. And I needed my friends to survive. I remember screaming for Ray to get out of the stall. I was trying to devise a plan in the midst of all the yelling. But I was interrupted. DJ threw Meredith at Rabies and they started to run.
“Roen!” I screamed, so that he would know we were in trouble. It worked because the second Rabies pushed open the door, Roen threw his body at the DJ. Unfortunately, he missed.
“Damnit!” I yelled, and let Roen chase them. I ran back into the bathroom.
“Ray! What the FUCK are you doing?!” I kicked open the stall. This bitch was between his legs, pinning them down with her arms, and had...quite the mouthful.
“Help me!” Ray shouted, as he tried to push the girl off of him. He failed.
“Pathetic.” I said, and bent down to bite her chest. I figured the element of surprise of being bitten might cause her to jump up off him. I was half right, it surprised her. But it surprised her enough to bite down. Ray’s animalistic scream echoed through the room. I cringed. I wasn’t a guy, but I knew that had to hurt. He pushed the girl to the side and she fell, clutching at her chest with her left hand and wiping blood from her mouth with her right.
Ray struggled to get up and I averted my eyes. He wasn’t happy with me, but I didn’t care. I wasn’t happy with him. I think he thinks I've got a crush on him or something. I don’t. Sexual attraction and legitimate personal attraction are totally different.
“Rabies was chased out of here by the DJ. If you weren’t so busy being a fucking whore, you could have helped.” I scoffed, walking out of the bathroom. Ray waslimping behind me, holding up his jeans as he walked.
“Yeah, you wish it was you. Besides, maybe I’d be of more help if someone didn’t assist in castrating me.” I choked back a laugh. He deserved it. I hate when people desert those they are supposed to be with, especially in times of need. My parents left me when I was young and helpless and I will never forgive them. Ray ditched us and I didn’t feel bad for him.
“Whatever. We need to find Rabies.” But Rabies was nowhere to be seen. Nobody was. The rave was silent and empty, with exception of Roen. He was standing by the DJ’s stand, looking down.
“Where is everyone?!” I yelled, jumping up to him. He pointed down at a door in the floor.
“They…they went down, I tried to stop them..” He rambled on.
“You didn’t catch them?!” I yelled, and told him to try the door. He pulled and pulled, to no avail.
"Lemme try!" I knocked him out of the way with my hips and wrapped my fingers around the handle. I pulled as hard as I could, and the damn thing didn't budge.
“Move over, weaklings.” Ray pushed me to the side, still holding his manhood with one hand. I realized he was holding a gun. He pointed it at the door and pulled the trigger. I barely saw anything. I just heard a pinging sound and saw Ray clutching his lower body.
“Hah, dumbass.” I laughed. He could add bullet wound to his list of injuries.
